Thank you to everyone who participated and voted in Lilydale Village’s Locals Behind the Lens community photography competition.
We’re excited to reveal this year’s winners across three categories, and unveil the People’s Choice champion!

We’re inviting locals of all ages and skill levels to capture the heart of their neighbourhoods. From street scenes to smiling faces, submit your photo and help us celebrate what makes Lilydale special.
How It Works:
- People’s Choice Voting – ENDED
Voting will run from 30th October to 16th November, with voters entering a draw to win a $300 Lilydale Village Gift Card. Winners will be announced on 20th November across the Lilydale Village social media and website. - Submissions – ENDED
What makes Lilydale special to you? Snap a photo of the people, places, or moments and submit your photo before 12th October.
Categories will include Junior Photographer (Under 18s) / Beginner’s Eye (Smartphones/basic cameras) / Pro-Am (Advanced gear) - Judging – ENDED
Judging will take place mid October and will be conducted by a centre management representative alongside a seasoned professional from the Australian photography industry. Each category winner will receive a $500 Lilydale Village Gift Card, and the top 12 entries will progress to the People’s Choice Award where the public can vote for their favourites on their next visit to Lilydale Village.
